Day 2

OK so far today I've not eaten enough but that could be because I STILL need to go shopping!!! Have not finished my menu and really want to get that done before I go shop so I can do this the most cost effective way possible. I got a bit carried away last night figuring out how much calories, crabs and protein are in each meal I'm planing (this way I can make sure I'm eating enough but not to much!) I think its just my personality, I really really love planing things and I go a bit overboard at times but hey if it helps me loose the weight great right?

I forgot I was going to work out this morning, we had a bit of a rough night again last night with the twins I was up with one of them a lot last night (not as much as the night before) but they did not get up till 9:30 this morning so I stayed in bed till they woke up! Once they got up I had to give my son his meds and then wait 30min to feed him and then his PT came soooooo I kind of forgot. I need to make it a habit but I guess they take time to make right? anyway I'll workout this afternoon when they wakeup from their naps.

So yesterday I ate a bowl of cereal and milk for breakfast (had the same today not the most healthy but its easy, I need to come up with some good healthy breakfasts but eggs strait make me sick so anything I have will be a bit more complicated then crisbix with milk) for lunch I took 2 pieces of whole wheat bread and sliced tomato on it and then put a piece of Munster cheese and broiled it. had half a red pepper with it! came out very very yummy!
Dinner was Tuna Noodle Casserole and a bean/veggie soup! so not horrible and I restrained myself from snacks which is really the big feat for me! I ate only 2 jelly beans the whole day!!!!!!!!!!!

So I was going to weigh myself today but the scale gave me 4 different weights between 165 and 168 soooooo I think I need a new scale!

Day 1- It begins

Ok so here is what I'm challenging myself to do: Loose 25pounds in 6months seems reasonable right? I mean thats about 1lb a week should not be to hard... RIGHT???? I'm not kidding myself though I know this is going to take work. I think I'll start by working out once in the morning with my kids and once after my kids eat lunch (they love working out with me) secondly I will start eating healthier snacks for example a carrot stick which I was hopping to be chomping on as I typed this but sadly did not find in my refrigerator so I guess I need to go shopping to buy healthy snacks to eat!

I also want to have a menu for lunch and dinner. I think I'm going to aim for a 2 week menu dont have the exact same thing every week (boooooooring) this way I know what I'm going to eat and dont fall prey to the I dont know what to eat so I'll eat a chocolate bar thing.

OK finally I'm going to try really hard to have at least 5 servings of veggies a day and 3 servings of fruit! Oh did I mention the 8 cups of water?

Well my homework for today is to write a menu (oh yeah and make lunch and dinner) while my twins are napping. who knew taking care of ones self would be so difficult after having twins?

I guess I should put my weight down, as embarrassing as it may be...... well maybe a bit later :) hey my kids need to get ready for nap time!
